On April 5th 17 apprentices completed level 2 of the dairy herdsperson course with 8 apprentices Graduating from the program. The dairy herdsperson program has a practical hands on learning style where the apprentices spend their months working for a host dairy farmer and come to Kemptville Campus for 4 days a month to learn in the classroom, at the barn, in a lab or touring local farms.
Graduates of the 2012 Agricultural
and Heavy Equipment Technician
On April 20th, 11 Agricultural & Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians, completed their final level of in-school training. These students have come 3 consecutive years for 8 week full-time blocks of training. They will now be eligible to go write their Certificate of Qualification exams with the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities and soon will be licensed Technicians.
