Kemptville Campus Staff and Students:

1. are encouraged to contiuously educate ourselves in all aspects of animal husbandry;

2. strive to maintain a high standing of quality in our animal husbandry, health care and animal housing;

3. should promote the welfare of animals, regardless of their value, as a primary consideration in all activities;

4. will provide all possible care and compassion for sick or injured or convalescing animals;

5. will strive to initiate prompt treatment for any sick or injured animal;

6. will endeavour to preserve and enhance our image of animal care so that society's respect will be maintained;

7. should act as a team in striving to provide an open, co-operative working environment for the benefit of animals;

8. are required to know and follow the Animal Care Committee protocols and to work within industry
